 Ayurveda Practices

The Sanskrit word ayurveda means the "the science of life".  This 5,000 year old Indian health practice incorporates natural therapies of aromatherapy, diet, herbology, energetic points on the body, breath work, yoga and meditation for balancing the body. 


Doshas are the three energies that define every person's makeup. Knowing your dosha can help you live a healthier, more balanced life. Discover your dosha type here. In Ayurveda, the five elements that are found in all living things—ether, air, fire, water, and earth—are the building blocks of life. While this foundation unites all humans, the manifestation of those elements through the doshas is what gives rise to our different constitutions.
